As part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to enhancing constructive cooperation with all state institutions and the private sector, exchanging expertise, and providing distinguished institutional training for human resources, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Arab Court of Arbitration, affiliated with the League of Arab States.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, Senate Speaker, and attended by Ambassador Mohamed Ahmed El-Naya, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, and Mr. Ali Abdi Aware, Ambassador of Somalia to Cairo.

During the signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Arab Court of Arbitration, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the Arab Court of Arbitration, praising its expertise in commercial arbitration and local and international investment disputes.

He pointed out that areas of cooperation include implementing joint training programs and courses for specialists in the fields of local, Arab, and international commercial arbitration and commercial contracts, as well as leveraging the capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in administrative, technical, and specialized training on modern technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and information technology.

He explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization had early developed an ambitious plan to develop and enhance the skills of employees across all of the organization's factories and companies. This would contribute to implementing the institutional development and digitization plan to achieve sustainable resource management and enable them to maximize the use of artificial intelligence and modern digital tools in manufacturing, production, implementation, and project management. This is within the framework of implementing Egypt's Vision for Sustainable Development 2030. He noted that the organization has specialized training academies and institutes based on the latest software systems and Fourth Industrial Revolution standards.

In a related context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his welcome to strengthening cooperation with the Arab Court of Arbitration in various fields by leveraging the advanced manufacturing and human capabilities of all of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's factories and companies.

For his part, Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, Speaker of the Senate, expressed his pride and appreciation for the significant role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), the state's industrial backbone, in localizing technology, deepening local manufacturing, increasing the added value of national industry, and developing the skills of human resources. He praised the AOI's role in furnishing the new Senate headquarters in the New Administrative Capital in accordance with the latest international quality standards and within the specified timeline.

For his part, Counselor Farouk Sultan, President of the Arab Court of Arbitration and former President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, emphasized the importance of leveraging the advanced expertise of the AOI's training systems to enhance institutional capabilities and digital institutional excellence, and keep pace with rapid technological developments in the fields of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This contributes to preparing institutions to accommodate digitization work and ensure its sustainability. He also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise in the field of commercial and investment contracts.
