Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), received His Excellency President Michael Randrianirina of the sisterly Republic of Madagascar and a high-level delegation, in the presence of Mr. Alaa Farouk, the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

This visit comes within the framework of the successful steps taken by the AOI to enhance partnership and cooperation and increase the volume of intra-African trade with sisterly African countries.

During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation mechanisms and leveraging the advanced capabilities of the AOI to meet all the needs of development projects and the defense and security industries in the sisterly Republic of Madagascar, as well as identifying proposed areas of cooperation between the two sides in various manufacturing fields. In this regard, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with African countries and implementing the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open new horizons for cooperation and integration with African brothers in all industrial and economic fields, and to open new export markets in Africa.

He expressed his pride in the shared relations between the two countries and the importance of continuing coordination and joint work and strengthening cooperation ties by opening new areas, noting the AOI's interest in participating in the implementation of development projects in the sisterly Republic of Madagascar.

During his inspection of the AOI's product exhibition, the President of the sisterly Republic of Madagascar expressed his admiration for the advanced manufacturing technologies in the AOI's defense products, including armored vehicles, troop carriers, defense systems, fire trucks, ambulances, cash transport vehicles, mobile technology centers, ATMs, mobile cash machines, medical and electronic industries, renewable energy, various solutions for using solar energy for different purposes, and many other diverse industries. He emphasized his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation with the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in all industrial and developmental fields, noting his pride in this visit to the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state. He also highlighted the importance of coordinating efforts with the organization to achieve integration and localize the latest manufacturing technologies in all areas of mutual interest.

Furthermore, he expressed the appreciation of the Republic of Madagascar, both government and people, for the Arab Republic of Egypt and its leading role in the African continent, as well as its efforts to meet the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity, particularly in light of its effective contribution to advancing joint African action.
