Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), accompanied by Major General Mohamed Alwan, Governor of Assiut, conducted a field visit to monitor the progress of projects implemented by AOI factories and companies as part of the "Decent Life 1" presidential initiative in several villages in Assiut Governorate.
During the visit, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif emphasized the AOI's commitment to implementing the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to expedite the completion of projects and ensure their commissioning according to the established timelines.
The visit included inspections of several projects implemented by AOI factories and companies in the districts of Deirout, Assiut, El-Fath, and Sidfa.
The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization was briefed on the progress of these projects, emphasizing the need to intensify work and continue coordination with various executive and consulting bodies to overcome any obstacles. This will ensure the projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency and enter service according to the planned schedules.
Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif also directed the enhancement of the remote monitoring system for the "Decent Life 1" initiative projects by installing surveillance cameras at the organization's electronics factory. This directive aims to monitor progress in real time, ensure adherence to the established timelines, and promptly address any challenges or obstacles that arise at the work sites.
Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif also held an open dialogue with the engineers, workers, contractors, and implementing companies involved in the projects, listening to all opinions and discussing the best solutions and ideas. He stressed the importance of expediting implementation according to the established timelines.
He added that he will continue his regular field monitoring of the projects until their completion and commissioning, serving the great people of Egypt.
On the sidelines of the visit, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), met with Major General Mohamed Alwan, Governor of Assiut, to discuss utilizing the AOI's manufacturing capabilities to meet all the needs of comprehensive development projects in Assiut Governorate at competitive prices and in accordance with international quality standards.
The Chairman of the AOI also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Governor of Assiut and the governorate's executive bodies for their sincere cooperation in implementing the "Decent Life" projects to serve the people of Assiut.
For his part, Major General Mohamed Alwan, Governor of Assiut, affirmed that the governorate is continuously monitoring all projects of the presidential initiative "Decent Life," in implementation of the directives of the political leadership. He pointed out that the governorate is harnessing all its resources in coordination with various relevant entities, foremost among them the AOI, to overcome any obstacles that may hinder implementation, ensuring the completion of projects according to the specified timelines and their entry into service, thus maximizing benefits for citizens.
The governor explained that the presidential initiative “Decent Life” represents one of the largest development projects witnessed by the governorate, as it aims to implement 2,716 service and development projects at a cost of nearly 80 billion pounds within 7 centers, 149 villages, and 615 dependencies and hamlets, stressing that the governorate is keen to continue field monitoring of the projects and full coordination with all implementing bodies to ensure speed of completion according to the highest quality standards.
