Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Evgueni Sobolevski, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Cairo.
During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation and partnership mechanisms in the fields of defense and civil industries, including silos, tractors, agricultural equipment, water treatment, furniture, medical industries, and others, in addition to discussing the participation of Belarusian companies with the Arab Organization for Industrialization in national projects implemented by the state.
In this regard, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization looks forward to strengthening joint cooperation with major Belarusian companies to deepen and increase local manufacturing and technology localization, pointing to the discussion of increasing marketing opportunities for joint products in African and Arab markets.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is keen on attracting investments, exchanging experiences, and enhancing cooperation with international companies in sisterly and friendly countries, relying on local manufacturing and the highest international quality standards, in implementation of Egypt's Vision for Sustainable Development 2030.
He pointed out that Egypt represents a promising and attractive market for international companies, especially with its distinctive geographical location, which qualifies it to be a regional center for manufacturing and exporting products to African and Arab countries.
For his part, Mr. Evgueni Sobolevski, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Cairo, praised the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its ambitious vision to increase manufacturing rates in various industries, which encourages major Belarusian companies to cooperate and exchange experiences. He emphasized that the aim of this visit is to explore new long-term joint partnerships in all areas of industry and human resources training.
