Through its participation in the second edition of the Alamein International Air and Space Show, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has set a clear objective: to strengthen cooperation and expand partnerships with major global institutions and companies in the aerospace and defense sectors.

During the event's opening day, Major General Eng. Mohamed Abd Elfatah Abo Bakr   , Chairman of the AOI, stated that the organization aims to broaden cooperation and partnerships with various friendly and allied nations. This initiative leverages the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the AOI’s factories and companies, as well as its workforce, which is trained to meet global quality standards.

In this context,

Major General Engineer  Mohamed Abd Elfatah Abo Bakr   , Chairman of the AOI, and Ambassador Éric Chevallier, the French Ambassador to Cairo,

witnessed a new milestone for Egyptian industry: the accreditation of

the AOI’s Engine Factory as a specialized center

for the manufacture of aerospace spare parts

(covering both aircraft and engines).

The facility achieved the international standard certification

EN-9100

from the French accreditation body,

AFNOR.

Reflecting Egypt’s regional and international standing, numerous official delegations from friendly and allied nations participating in the air show visited the AOI pavilion.

Among the visitors was

the Minister of Defense of Somalia.

Discussions were also held with various global companies to enhance cooperation and partnerships, as well as to localize technology across a range of aerospace and defense industries.
