Major General, Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to achieve integration between national industrial institutions, universities and scientific research institutions, in order to achieve the state's plan to deepen and increase local manufacturing rates, localize technology and reduce imports according to For Egypt's Vision 2030, indicating that the Arab Industrialization puts all its technological capabilities and expertise to promote digital transformation and manage all the needs of universities and educational and research institutions
This came during the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Menoufia University.
In this regard, Mokhtar Abdel Latif praised the integrated system of education and scientific research at Menoufia University, its integrated vision in various engineering and scientific fields, and many applied research projects, which can provide industrial solutions to the problems of various sectors in the country, pointing to the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in strengthening cooperation. Participating in training and supporting research projects and applicable industrial innovations to serve the various manufacturing sectors, organizing training courses in common fields and summer training programs in various engineering disciplines in the production and research units of the Authority, as well as training human cadres in Arabic for industrialization in specialized courses at the University of Menoufia.
On the aspects of the protocol, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization explained that it was agreed to joint coordination in the research fields and to make use of the material capabilities and infrastructure available to both parties, including machines, equipment and human cadres in production work for various industrial fields and in completing the practical part of student projects.
He added that the areas of cooperation also include meeting the needs of Menoufia University in many areas, including digital transformation, electronic mechanization, various educational aids, computers, laboratories, electronic display screens, surveillance camera systems, electronics, networks, computers, administrative and educational furniture, solar stations, energy-saving systems, smart water saver systems, sports equipment and supplies. Medical, medical and hazardous waste incinerators, environmental protection equipment, and many fields to serve the Institute's development plans and strategies.
In a related context, Mokhtar Abdel Latif emphasized the importance of benefiting from modern scientific disciplines at Menoufia University in the field of renewable energy systems technologies (wind energy), aviation electric power generation systems, electric traction motors in trains, computer science and artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing. Electric cars, green hydrogen, pointing out that these disciplines represent the sciences of the future, for many industries, according to the standards of the fourth industrial revolution.
During his inspection of the Academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization for training, Dr. "Ahmed Farag Al-Kased", President of Menoufia University, expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation, due to the continuous support provided by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to various scientific institutions in the fields of training and scientific research to transform research outputs into applied models that can be used in Various industrial fields and qualify them for the labor market. He pointed out that Menoufia University is looking forward to meeting all the needs and requirements of university faculties and research centers through the advanced smart products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
