Today, Lt. Gen. Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Lt. Gen. Mirghani Idris Suleiman, head of the Defense Industries System of the sisterly State of Sudan, and the accompanying delegation, on a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation in various fields of industry.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms and making use of the advanced capabilities in Arabic for industrialization to meet all the needs of development projects and defense and security industries in the sisterly State of Sudan, in addition to discussing the formation of a joint technical committee to study the available capabilities and determine the proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in various different industrial fields according to the latest systems The Fourth Industrial Revolution, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.

In this regard, Lieutenant General Mirghani  Idris affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt in all industrial and development fields, praising the development renaissance, the initiative for a decent life and the national projects that Egypt is witnessing to deepen local industrialization, localize technology and its unprecedented steps for digital transformation.

Idris explained the importance of benefiting from the experiences of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to deepen local industrialization and localize modern technology in various development projects in Sudan, including the modernization of infrastructure, water and sanitation projects, electronics, renewable energy and digital transformation, as well as training Sudanese human cadres in advanced training centers in Arabic for industrialization.

For his part, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the countries of the African continent, and implementing the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to open new horizons of cooperation and integration in all industrial and economic fields.

The "Terrace" also indicated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its human and technological expertise and capabilities for cooperation and partnership with our brothers in the sisterly State of Sudan in all areas of manufacturing, exchange of experiences, training and qualification of Sudanese human cadres in Arab Industrialization Training Centers, according to the latest modern digital training systems.

After the end of the joint talks, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the President of the Sudanese Defense Industries System inspected the Arab Products Exhibition for Industrialization, where "Mirghani Idris" praised the diversity of products and the advanced industrial base of the authority and its plans to deepen local manufacturing and localize modern technology, as well as developing production lines to become smart digital lines.
