The Arab Organization for Industrialization launches the first locally-made electric bus

Major General, engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to deepen local manufacturing, transfer and localize technology in the field of electric cars of all kinds, according to the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

This came within the framework of the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s celebration of the inauguration of the first locally manufactured electric bus, in cooperation with the Giyoshi Factory for the Means of Transport, on the sidelines of the COP 27 Climate Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.

This cooperation comes in the context of continuous efforts by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to implement the directives of President “Sisi” to enhance cooperation with companies from the private sector to localize the electric vehicle industry in Egypt, starting with the assembly stages, leading to integrated manufacturing, within the framework of implementing the national strategy for green transformation.

In this regard, "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" explained that it was agreed on the integration and joint manufacturing of electric buses, in addition to training and qualification of human cadres to operate production, supervision and quality control in accordance with the latest advanced training systems, pointing out that this car meets all the requirements of environmental protection.

Abdel Latif pointed out that the cooperation includes the localization of modern technology and the deepening of local manufacturing by more than 60%. The best competitive selling price.
