Discussions to enhance cooperation with the Ambassador of the State of India

Today, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Ajit Gupti, Ambassador of the State of India in Cairo, and the accompanying delegation.

 

 

During the meeting, the Arab Industrialization vision was presented regarding the deepening of local manufacturing and the transfer and localization of technology in many different fields of industry, including the training of human cadres, especially that there is a distinguished and historical cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and major Indian companies in many fields of industry.

 

The two sides also agreed to form joint technical committees to determine the method of partnership and cooperation in joint manufacturing in all fields of industry, as well as training human cadres.

 

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to localize technology in cooperation with global expertise, pointing to the importance of investing in the depth and strength of relations between the two countries and opening new horizons for joint cooperation in various fields of manufacturing.

Al-Terrace pointed out that Arab Industrialization aspires to establish partnerships to transfer and localize modern technologies and deepen local manufacturing, as well as exchange expertise and technical information with major Indian companies in various fields, expressing confidence in the advanced technology of manufacturing in India.

The Terrace explained that they discussed the latest developments in the fields of joint cooperation, especially in the field of defense industries, electronics, software, digital transformation, smart systems, smart meters, surveillance cameras, tablets, laptops, information systems, renewable energy, railways and metros, pointing to the discussion of the participation of Indian companies in national projects. implemented by the state.

He added that they discussed increasing competitive opportunities for marketing joint production in the Egyptian, Arab and African markets, as well as training human cadres through specialized training courses at the Arab Industrialization Academy for training, as well as training and qualifying human cadres in the friendly state of India.

 

For his part, Ajit Gupti explained that there are important opportunities to enhance trade cooperation between Egypt and India. Especially that the two countries enjoy promising economic capabilities and a distinct geographical location, praising the Egyptian state's interest in providing a supportive climate for investment and attracting more investments from international companies.

Gupti expressed the aspiration of the major Indian companies to open new horizons for cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which is an important industrial entity in the Egyptian industry. .
