This commitment reinforces its position as a leading national industrial body striving to create genuine added value for the national economy. In this context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), witnessed the ceremony in which the Arab-African Company for Medical Industries (Orthopedic Surgical Supplies Factory) received the ISO 13485:2016 international certification from TÜV NORD.

The certification, awarded by the certifying company, covers the design, development, production, marketing, distribution, and contract manufacturing of finished and semi-finished sterile and non-sterile orthopedic surgical supplies (including plates, screws, and artificial knee joints), as well as surgical instruments. The certificate was presented by Dr.  Tarsi Gianoli , Vice President of TÜV NORD Hellas, in the presence of Mr. Rajiv Anand  , Managing Executive Officer of DMG MORI.

In this regard, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif explained that this achievement is not merely the culmination of a phase of work, but rather an extension of the AOI's vision and strategy, which is based on establishing the concepts of total quality management, enhancing competitiveness, and building an integrated work system that prioritizes excellence in performance and sustainability.

It was stated that the Arab African Medical Industries Company's attainment of this specialized international certification confirms our advanced manufacturing capabilities, enabling us to operate with a global mindset, increase productivity, and meet all the needs of the Ministry of Health and medical and treatment institutions with superior quality products at competitive prices.

This will also expand our international client base and increase export rates, offering advanced orthopedic surgical supplies such as plates, screws, artificial joints, self-disabling safety syringes, and inactive pharmaceutical raw materials. All products bear the "Made in Egypt" label, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to localize technology and deepen local manufacturing in the medical industries sector, within the framework of Egypt's Sustainable Development Vision 2030 and the goals of the new republic.

The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization expressed his gratitude and appreciation to:

He also thanked the officials of TÜV NORD Hellas for conducting the audit procedures at the company according to international quality standards, which resulted in the orthopedic surgical supplies factory receiving the certification. (ISO 13485:2016)

The African Medical Industries Company (Orthopedic Surgery Supplies Factory) has obtained international accreditation (ISO 13485:2016).

 The company explained that it is a key partner in building and developing the skills of industrial human resources within Egypt and all African and Arab countries, and in upgrading and developing production equipment.
