A tribute to the plan of the AOI To localize technology and increase the proportions of local manufacturing for lithium batteries And a smart system for water wells and networks

Major General., Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to enhance constructive cooperation between state institutions, private sector companies, and research and scientific centers, and to exploit national manufacturing capabilities to deepen and increase local manufacturing rates, localize technology, and increase Production capacities and limiting imports.

This came during the signing of tripartite agreement contracts at the Electronics Research institute , in the presence of Dr. Yasser Rufieat, deputy of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The first is between the Electronics Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Araf Box for Designs and Engineering Consultations, and the Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The second is between the electronics factory, the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences and the Electronics Research Institute, affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In this regard, "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization aims, through these agreements, to enhance cooperation and industrial integration to implement the state's vision for sustainable development Egypt 2030, and to manufacture national products with Egyptian ideas and raw materials, under the slogan "Made in Egypt"

As for the first agreement, the Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization indicated that the areas of cooperation include manufacturing, developing and marketing the manufacture of lithium batteries and supplying, assembling, manufacturing and marketing electric vehicles, pointing out that we aim to meet the needs of the local market and export to African and Arab countries.

With regard to the second agreement, Mokhtar Abdel Latif explained that the cooperation includes designing, manufacturing and marketing a digital smart system for remote monitoring and control of the water flow from wells or networks, and linking it to an active spatial database.

 

For his part, Dr. "Yasser Rufieat" confirmed that the ministry is keen to strengthen cooperation between the research centers and institutes affiliated with the ministry and all sectors of the country in order to serve the achievement of the goals of sustainable development of the country, praising the close cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization as a edifice and industrial backing for the state and the Electronics Research Institute, in a manner that serves the requirements industry in Egypt.

 

In her turn, Dr. Sherine Abdel Qader Muharram, Head of the Electronics Research Institute, emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization to build a national scientific and technological base in digital electronic industry technologies through technological development and innovation.
