The Minister of Housing stressed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives emphasize relying on local Egyptian-made products to implement various projects in the presidential initiative, “A Dignified Life,” in order to localize and encourage the Egyptian industry, and provide job opportunities for the local community, which is one of the most important goals of the presidential initiative.
The minister added that the various projects that are being implemented within the presidential initiative "A Dignified Life" for the development of villages and dependents at the level of the Republic, are among the most important national projects that are currently being implemented at the state level, and are monitored directly and periodically by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. For his part, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, confirmed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to strengthen national manufacturing capabilities to deepen local manufacturing, and to localize the technology of designing and manufacturing equipment for treatment plants and pumps of all kinds, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to encourage and support the local product. and relying on it primarily in all development projects in the country.
The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization indicated that there are directives from President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, to increase the plan of producing pumps locally from 50 to 300 pumps per month. He stressed that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is an industrial back-up for the state and its multiple destinations in providing project requirements, and the authority cooperates with specialized foreign companies in order to transfer and localize modern technology, and raise the quality and efficiency of Egyptian products, to be competitive with their imported counterparts in quality and price.
Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras added that during the meeting, the efforts of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to provide the requirements for the projects of the presidential initiative "Dignified Life", and its efforts to transfer and localize modern technology in the field of sewage plants, and to increase the local component of electromechanical equipment for water treatment plants, which contributes to providing Expenses of importing components that are used in the manufacture of treatment plants, localizing this industry and achieving a high added value for the national industry.
The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization also addressed the role of the Authority in solving the sewage problem in villages, hamlets and rural residential communities, pointing to the efforts of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to deepen local manufacturing and localize the technology of components of water stations in cooperation with universities and specialized research centers, in addition to training human cadres on this modern technology.
