Hot-Dip Galvanizing Center
In 1990, the Aircraft Factory established a Hot-Dip Galvanizing Center for the galvanizing of fabricated metal products.
The center is one of the pioneering galvanizing facilities established in the Arab Republic of Egypt, providing metal parts and structures with a protective coating of bright zinc, with a minimum coating thickness of 85 microns, to protect them against corrosion and rust and enhance their resistance to environmental conditions.
Our galvanizing services are provided in accordance with the highest quality standards and comply with the Egyptian Standard Specification No. 863/2023.

Galvanizing Line Components
The Hot-Dip Galvanizing Center is equipped with an integrated processing line consisting of:
- Degreasing Tank for removing oils, grease, and contaminants.
- Acid Pickling Tank for removing rust and oxides from the metal surface.
- Water Rinsing Tank for cleaning the products after acid treatment.
- Molten Zinc Kettle for the hot-dip galvanizing process.
- Fluxing Tank for surface activation and preparation prior to galvanizing.
- Finishing Workshop for final inspection and finishing operations.
The center is also equipped with a dedicated Hot-Dip Galvanizing Unit for Bolts and Fasteners.
