Discussions of the President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Presidential Adviser to the sisterly Republic of Burundi to enhance cooperation in the defense industries

Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr GODEFROID BIZIMANA, Presidential Adviser to the Republic of Burundi, in the presence of Mr. RACHID MALACHIE NIRAGIRA, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi in Cairo, and the Burundian Military Attaché.

During the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of defense and civil industries were reviewed, as well as benefiting from the advanced capabilities of Arabic for industrialization to meet the needs of development projects in the sisterly Republic of Burundi, in addition to discussing strengthening cooperation in the field of armored vehicles.

 

In this regard, Mr. Godfroid Bizimana affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt as a leading country in the African continent, praising the positive role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its shining fingerprints in many important development and strategic projects in the African continent.

He added that his country is looking to enhance Arab Industrialization's participation in development projects in Burundi and all fields of industry, including electronics, interactive screens, surveillance cameras, laptops, tablets, energy-saving lamps, digital transformation processes, renewable energy, firefighting vehicles, money transfer vehicles, armored vehicles, water rationalization and other areas of development In addition to training human cadres in the training centers and units of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

 

For its part, the "Terrace" affirmed its pride in this visit with the brothers in the Republic of Burundi, noting that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is keen to implement the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi" to enhance cooperation in development projects and transfer expertise to our brothers in the countries of the African continent.

The "Terrace" mentioned that the formation of a joint technical committee was discussed to meet all the needs and various development projects in the Republic of Burundi, pointing out the importance of training and qualifying Burundian technical cadres at the Academy and training centers in Arabic for industrialization.

 

Within the framework of these discussions, it is reported that the Burundian delegation visited this morning a number of units of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, including the kader Factory, where they viewed the production lines and expressed their admiration for the factory’s products, including fire trucks, money transport vehicles and armored vehicles. Then, they inspected the electronics factory products exhibition. Where they saw interactive screens, surveillance cameras, laptops and tablets.
