The cooperation of the Arab Industrialization and the Abu Ghaly Motors Group

Lieutenant-General "Abdel-Moneim Al-Terras", Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi" to deepen local manufacturing, transfer and localize technology in the field of the automotive industry of all kinds, in accordance with the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This came within the framework of signing the cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization and Abu Ghali Motors Group, and in the presence of Eng. Abdel Rahman Othman, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Eng. Osama Abdel Alim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab American Automobile Company affiliated with Arab Industrialization, Mr. Maher Accountant Abu Ghali, Chairman of the Abu Ghali Motors Group, Eng. Mohamed Abu Ghali, Board Member of Abu Ghali Motors Group, and Eng. Tamer Kotb, Chief Operating Officer of Abu Ghali Motors Group.

In this context, Al-Terras explained that it was agreed on joint cooperation to assemble the Geely Auto car in all its categories in the production lines of the Arab American Automobile Company of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. In addition to training and qualification of human cadres to run production, supervision and quality control according to the latest advanced training systems, pointing out This car meets all the requirements of environmental protection.

 

The "Terrace" indicated that the cooperation includes the localization of modern technology and the deepening of local manufacturing at rates of no less than 45% at the beginning of production and the best competitive selling price.

The Terrace also mentioned that we aim with this cooperation to meet the needs of the local market and to expand in the future to meet the needs of the African and Arab markets.

In a related context, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of pumping new investments in the field of vehicle manufacturing and the industries feeding them, raising the efficiency of the labor needed by these industries to raise the level of competitiveness in this sector, and placing Egypt on the global investment map in a way that serves the interest of the consumer, by providing the needs of the local market. With high quality and competitive price.

 

For his part, Eng. Tamer Kotb, Chief Operating Officer of Abu Ghali Motors Group, expressed his happiness to cooperate with one of the Arab Organization for Industrialization companies, which was not a product of the moment, but extends to a long history of mutual trust between the two parties.

Qutb also stressed that the Abu Ghali Motors Group attaches special importance to the localization of the auto industry and its feeding industries, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to prepare an integrated strategy for the localization of the automobile industry, and to work on transferring advanced technology to the largest possible proportion of local components.

Qutb indicated that, during his participation in the activities of the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh, Representative Mohamed Abu Ghali confirmed that he had reached advanced stages to study the manufacture of the Geely car in Egypt and the transfer of global technologies to Geely Auto and use of them in manufacturing the car in the Egyptian market before the end of the year.

Eng. Tamer Kotb added, “We have chosen Abu Ghali Motors Group to cooperate with the Arab Organization for Industrialization because of our confidence in this ancient and ever-developing system, which ensures the achievement of our common goals and the assembly of the Geely car in the Egyptian market with international standard specifications, in addition to completing research and cooperation towards manufacturing and production.” A fully electric car, which contributes to making the Egyptian market a center for exporting cars to foreign markets.
