Lieutenant-General "Abdel-Moneim Al-Terras", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi" to deepen local manufacturing, transfer and localize technology in the field of electric cars of all kinds, according to the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This came during the signing of a cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization and Geyushi Company for Transportation.

This protocol comes within the framework of continuous efforts by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to implement the directives of President “Sisi” to enhance cooperation with companies from the private sector to localize the electric car industry in Egypt, starting with the assembly stages, leading to integrated manufacturing, within the framework of implementing the national strategy for green transformation.

In this context, Al-Terrace explained that it was agreed on the integration and joint manufacturing of electric buses, in addition to training and qualification of human cadres to operate production, supervision and quality control in accordance with the latest advanced training systems, pointing out that this vehicle meets all the requirements of environmental protection.

Al-Terrace pointed out that the cooperation includes the localization of modern technology and the deepening of local industrialization to exceed 60%. The best competitive selling price.

The Terrace also mentioned that with this cooperation, we aim to develop a passenger transport service in Greater Cairo, tourist cities such as Sharm El Sheikh, the new administrative capital and new urban cities, and to provide a smart electronic operation and management system for mass transit service that works in accordance with global standards for sustainable urban transport within cities. To expand in the future to meet the needs of African and Arab markets.

In a related context, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of pumping new investments in the field of electric cars of all kinds and raising the efficiency of the labor needed by these industries to raise the level of competitiveness in this sector, and put Egypt on the global investment map in a way that serves the interest of the consumer, while ensuring that car prices are Economic, in addition to spreading the infrastructure of electric car charging stations on the widest scale nationwide, including ultra-fast charging stations.

For his part, Mr. Mohi El-Din Geyushi , Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geyushi Transport Industry Company, stressed the importance of cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization for our confidence in this national and ever-developing industrial edifice, which ensures the achievement of our common goals and the localization of the electric bus industry with international standard specifications with increasing local manufacturing rates Which contributes to making the Egyptian market a center for exporting electric buses to foreign markets.

Khaled Mohieldin Geyushi  , Vice President of the company, stressed that  Geyushi  Company attaches special importance to the localization of the electric bus industry and its feeding industries, and to work on transferring advanced technology to the largest possible proportion of local components.
