The Minister of Transport meets with the President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to follow up the executive position of a number of joint projects

, Lieutenant General the engineer of "Kamel Al-Wazir" - the Minister of Transport, met with Lieutenant General "Abdel Moneim Al-Terras", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to follow up the executive position of a number of joint projects that are being implemented and discussed cooperation in a number of future projects in the field of mobile units, as this meeting comes within the framework of implementing the President's directives Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to deepen and localize local manufacturing in the various transportation fields.

 

During the meeting, a comprehensive development position for 200 third-class railway carriages was discussed, as 109 vehicles were completed, where the minister emphasized the need to complete the development of the rest of the vehicles, especially as work is underway in the Ministry of Transport so that all railway passenger cars will be before the end of this. In the year, new and other vehicles were developed and renewed according to the directives of the political leadership

 

Then the talks dealt with cooperation in manufacturing and supplying 1000 new cargo vehicles, in implementation of the political leadership directives that a major quantum leap in the field of mobile units for transporting goods should take place to relieve pressure on roads, reduce accidents and increase the financial resources of the Railways Authority to continue improving the service provided to the passengers, as well as cooperation in manufacturing and supplying 200 new sleeping carriages to be run on the Cairo Aswan line to support the tourism sector.
