Discussions to enhance cooperation in all fields of industry between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Ambassador of the State of Pakistan in Cairo

Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al Taras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Sajid Bilal, the Ambassador of the State of Pakistan in Cairo, in the presence of Mr. Tariq Dahrouj, the Ambassador of Egypt to Pakistan.

 

During the meeting, Arab Industrialization's vision for deepening local manufacturing, transfer and localization of technology, including the training of human cadres, was presented.

The two sides also agreed to form joint technical committees to determine the method of partnership and joint manufacturing in many different fields of industry.

 

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to open new horizons for joint cooperation with various countries of the world and increase investment opportunities, pointing to the importance of investing in the depth and strength of relations between Egypt and Pakistan, and strengthening joint cooperation in the African continent.

The "Terrace" pointed out that Arab Industrialization aspires to establish partnerships to transfer and localize modern technologies and deepen local manufacturing, as well as exchanging expertise and technical information with major Pakistani companies in various fields of industry.

The Terrace explained that joint cooperation was discussed in a number of fields, including defense industries, electronics, software, digital transformation, smart systems, smart meters, surveillance cameras, tablets, laptops, information systems, renewable energy, and environmentally friendly transportation, pointing to the discussion of the participation of Pakistani companies in national projects implemented by the state. .

He added that they discussed increasing competitive opportunities for marketing joint production in the Egyptian and African market, as well as training human cadres through specialized training courses at the Arab Academy for Industrialization for Training, as well as training and qualifying human cadres in the friendly State of Pakistan.

 

For his part, Sajid Bilal explained that there are great opportunities to strengthen the economic partnership between Egypt and Pakistan, praising the historical relations that unite the two countries, including cooperation in the political, economic and defense fields.

He added that there are important opportunities to enhance economic cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan, especially that the two countries enjoy promising economic capabilities and a distinct geographical location, pointing to the interest in promoting trade exchange between Pakistan and African countries through cooperation with Egypt as the pivotal country in the African and Arab region.

Bilal expressed the aspiration of major Pakistani companies to open new horizons for cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, an important industrial entity in the Egyptian industry, praising the development witnessed by the Arab Organization for Industrialization at various levels and the remarkable activity in supporting the deepening of local industrialization in the various national and development projects that Egypt is witnessing.
