Cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Upper Egypt Development Authority

Lt. Gen. Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Major General Engineer Sami Al-Shennawi, Chairman of the Upper Egypt Development Authority of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, signed a protocol for joint cooperation in various developmental fields, especially those related to the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” to develop rural villages. In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to enhance constructive cooperation between state institutions to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in the governorates and cities of Upper Egypt and to maximize the utilization of their resources and increase investments in them, with the aim of bringing about a qualitative leap in the living conditions of citizens and providing them with job opportunities. The "Terrace" praised this cooperation and the constructive role of the Upper Egypt Development Authority, which will directly contribute to opening new horizons of investments, besides developing radical and urgent solutions for many troubled projects and factories, noting that Arab Industrialization puts all its manufacturing energies and technological capabilities to enhance the wheel of technological and industrial development and training Human cadres in the governorates and cities of Upper Egypt.

 

He added that the areas of cooperation include various industrial and technological fields for the development of the Upper Egypt region, by providing support and technical advice in the developmental areas related to the industrial projects associated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, referring to the deepening of local manufacturing, transfer and localization of technology in the areas of industrial development, in cooperation with expertise in the field of electronics and transformation. Digital and clean energy work.

The "Terrace" also affirmed the Arab Industrialization’s keenness to cooperate to rehabilitate and develop stalled factories, establish new factories and train human cadres through the institutes and training centers of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to achieve sustainable development in the governorates and cities of Upper Egypt and to open new job opportunities for its children.

During his inspection of the Arab Products Exhibition for Industrialization, the Chairman of the Upper Egypt Development Authority praised the close and constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its experiences in implementing various industrial and economic development projects that enable it to complete all areas of cooperation with the required efficiency and speed in implementation in accordance with international quality levels.

Major General "Sami El Shennawy" revealed that the signing of the cooperation protocol with Arabia for Industrialization will be a major turning point to activate the role of the Upper Egypt Development Authority in opening new horizons of investments in light of the facilities that will be granted and presented to investors, in addition to pushing work on projects that are stalled and ready for implementation in order to achieve tangible positive results. He also indicated that the Upper Egypt Development Authority is keen on optimizing the resources of Upper Egypt governorates and supporting investment in them in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, according to scientific studies and research to ensure the success of projects.
