Cooperation between Military Production Ministry & the Arab Industrialization Organization to produce requirements for “Decent Life” initiative

Lt. Gen. Abdel Moneim El-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization(AOI), received on Friday morning Minister of Military Production; Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, to discuss the executive steps of the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.

 

During their meeting, they discussed strengthening means of cooperation to supply and produce all requirements for the implementation of various projects, within the first phase of the presidential initiative to develop villages and build various projects.

 

In this regard, the Minister of Military Production indicated that the “Decent Life” initiative is one of the most important national projects at the level of the Egyptian state at the present time, saying that it is a good opportunity to rely on local products to implementing the various projects in Egypt.

 

He also pointed to “Al-Masry” initiative, as a part of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s directives on the necessity of relying on locally manufactured products and providing job opportunities to implement “Decent Life” initiative’s various projects that extend to all aspects of life and basic services in Egyptian villages.

 

“Morsi” explained that within the framework of the initiative, the Ministry of Military Production in coordination with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, would form a joint central committee that would be responsible for providing all needs and supplies required for projects within the framework of the presidential initiative.

 

For his part, Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, head of the AOI, said the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding reliance on Egyptian-made products to implement various projects in the “Decent Life” initiative, indicates the concerted efforts of all state agencies to implement these projects in accordance with international quality standards.

 

Al-Terras explained that the “Decent Life” initiative is an unprecedented development project that will change life in the Egyptian countryside, indicating that the initiative is carried out in two phases and aims to localize and encourage Egyptian industry and provide job opportunities for the local community.

 

He added that the size of the projects currently being implemented in Egypt is unprecedented, so the local industry should take advantage of this opportunity and provide all requirements for these projects, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of Egyptian products, and enable them to compete with imported products.
