Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides in the production of different types of car tires, in the presence of Mr. Imad Mustafa, President of the Holding Company for Chemical Industries

This comes in light of the authority’s efforts to establish a tire production plant in Ain Sukhna, as well as the Ministry’s efforts to restructure the Transportation and Engineering Company of the Chemical Holding Company and establish a new factory for it in the Amiriya area of ​​Alexandria.

The terrace and conciliation confirmed their keenness to unite efforts and achieve integration between the ministry and the authority in the tire industry and joint cooperation to revive this industry and deepen it locally, as it was agreed in principle to establish a project company under the supervision of the authority and in accordance with the laws regulating the work of the authority and with the participation of the Holding Company for Chemical Industries in the capital of the company To be established.

It is intended that the new company will follow two factories, one for the production of tractor tires and the other for other types of tires.

A joint meeting is scheduled with the Technical Committee of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to follow up and view the technical details of the tire production project, according to an international consultant study.
