Discussions of the Arab Industrialization and a high-level Brazilian delegation for partnership, transfer and localization of technology in various fields of manufacturing

Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al Taras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received a high-level delegation, headed by Dr. Marcos Demos, Secretary of Defense Products at the Brazilian Ministry of Defense. The delegation includes government officials and a number of major industrial institutions in Brazil.

 

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening all aspects of cooperation and opening new horizons for cooperation and partnership with major international companies in all different fields of manufacturing, in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation.

 

The meeting witnessed a presentation of the Arab Industrialization vision regarding the deepening of local manufacturing and the settlement of modern digital technology in many different fields of industry, including the defense and civil industries with all its projects.

An invitation was also sent to Brazilian institutions and companies to form a technical team to visit the units of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to see the possibilities available therein on the ground and to identify the proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the various fields of manufacturing.

 

 

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to increase investment opportunities in Egypt and localize technology in cooperation with global expertise, pointing to the importance of investing in the depth and strength of relations between the two countries and how to benefit from them to open new horizons for joint cooperation in various fields of manufacturing according to The latest systems and standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to strengthening joint cooperation with major Brazilian companies, to deepen local manufacturing and increase the added value in the local industry, pointing to the discussion of increasing competitive opportunities to market joint production in the Egyptian, African and Arab markets.

 

In a related context, the "Terrace" discussed with the Brazilian delegation the opportunity to train human cadres through the Academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which has specialized training programs in all fields of industry, management, information systems and communication technology according to the latest modern digital training systems and the enhancement of smart automated management mechanisms and training. On programmed machines, digital transformation, and integration of the elements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

 

Within the framework of the visit, the Brazilian delegation inspected the Arab Industrialization Products Exhibition, where senior officials of the high-level delegation expressed the importance of activating cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization in various manufacturing fields as it is the largest industrial entity in Egypt and the African and Arab region, stressing the importance of encouraging major Brazilian companies to invest in Egypt In various fields, especially in light of the economic reform policies, new development projects and the new administrative capital project.

They also praised the advanced production lines that have been updated in accordance with the mechanisms of smart digital management to achieve advanced industries in all defense and civil industries in accordance with international quality standards.

 

For his part, Dr. Marcos Demos, head of the Brazilian delegation, explained that Egypt is a historical and strategic partner for Brazil, and that there is a constantly developing economic cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the keenness of Brazilian companies to hold new long-term joint companies with Arab Industrialization in all fields of industry, training human cadres and discussing participation. In implementing major national development projects in accordance with international quality standards.
